These terms govern your use of Vertex Axle. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use Vertex Axle. To place trades, you must have your own brokerage account in good standing.

What Vertex Axle is

Vertex Axle is a web-based analytics and decision-support tool for options traders who use the Wheel strategy. It scans and scores stocks against technical and options criteria, tracks positions in a journal, and offers paper-trading and historical backtesting.

Not financial advice. Vertex Axle is educational and analytical software. It is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or robo-advisor. It does not hold your funds or securities and does not make trading decisions for you. All trading decisions and orders are your own.

Brokerage execution

You may connect your own brokerage account through SnapTrade. Orders are placed only when you initiate them; Vertex Axle does not trade on your behalf automatically. Orders are routed through SnapTrade to your broker, and your broker executes them. We are not responsible for broker outages, rejected, failed, or partial orders, fills, slippage, pricing, or market conditions. You are responsible for reviewing every order before you submit it.

Subscriptions and billing

Pro — $29.99/month (USD). Includes a 15-day free trial. A payment method is required at signup; we charge on day 15 unless you cancel before then. One free trial per person.
Pro Annual — $299/year (USD). Billed immediately, with no trial.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You can cancel anytime from in-app Settings or the link in our emails. Cancelling stops future billing; your access continues through the end of the current paid period (or, during a trial, through the end of the trial).
No refunds. Fees already charged are non-refundable — your subscription simply runs until cancelled.
If a payment fails, we retry over a short period and email you. Access may pause until the payment is resolved.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no reverse-engineering, scraping, reselling, sharing your account, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimers and risk

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Options trading involves substantial risk of loss. Scores, signals, scans, backtests, and paper-trading results are informational only and do not guarantee any outcome. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vertex Axle is not liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Your data

Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
